Description
Unique Size! Really thick smaller butcher block. Fabulously constructed of double dovetails, they travel vertically the entire 15 1/2″ depth of the block. Block is 35 1/2″ x 30 1/2″ x 15 1/2″ sits 35″ high. (Your countertop sits at 36″.) Five threaded rods go through the block and hold it together. We added new hard maple removable wide dowel 19 1/2″ inch turned legs to get it close to countertop height. Very tight block, very level. The entire block has been sanded thrice and finished the way your grandparents would have used it, in mineral oil. Would make nice addition to kitchen as island.
