Description
A Double Dovetailed Butcher Block from Mauston, Wisconsin. 31″ x 50″ x 15″ thick. Over four feet long, and two and a half wide, VERY level top, you get over ten square feet of working space. Block sits 33″ high on original 18″ hard maple turned legs. From Alferi Laboratories, (brass plaque) a food service provider in nearby Neenah, Wisconsin, with origins dating back to 1929. Vertically dovetailed, seven threaded rods go through the block and hold it together. Sanded thrice, has been refinished in mineral oil (the way your great grandparents would have used it).
